The short version
- Wheels Up Processing, LLC ("WUP," "we," "us") processes mortgage loans for licensed independent mortgage brokers. We are not your lender, and we do not take applications, quote rates or set loan terms.
- We use your information only to process your loan.
- We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for marketing, and we do not share it with our affiliates.
- We share it only to complete your transaction, with service providers who must keep it confidential, and as the law requires or permits.
Who we are
WUP is an Arizona LLC based in Phoenix and acts as a service provider to your broker. Our processing fee is paid at closing through the settlement agent.
What information we collect, and from whom
We receive nonpublic personal information ("NPI") through your loan file. It comes from your mortgage broker, or from you when your broker asks you to send it to us. It can include:
- Name, contact details, Social Security or tax ID number and date of birth
- Income, employment, tax, bank and asset information
- Credit reports, property and transaction details, and other loan-file documents
We do not ask for health information. If you send it to us anyway, we do not use or share it except as the law allows.
How we use your information
We use NPI only to process the loan you applied for through your broker, and to meet our own legal, regulatory, audit and fraud-prevention duties.
How we share your information
We share NPI only as federal privacy law (the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and Regulation P) allows without your opt-out:
- To complete your transaction: with your broker, the lender, appraisers, title and settlement agents, and credit reporting agencies.
- With our service providers: vetted companies that help us run our systems and are bound by contract to keep your information confidential.
- As required or permitted by law: for example, to regulators, to prevent fraud, or in response to a court order or other legal process.

Because we share only within these exceptions, federal law does not give you an opt-out right that applies to us. If our practices ever change, we will give you a new notice first.
Your broker or lender gives you its own privacy notice, which describes its own practices.
Vermont residents
Vermont law requires your permission before your financial information is shared outside the exceptions the law allows (8 V.S.A. § 10201 et seq. and Vermont Regulation B-2018-01).
We will not share NPI about a Vermont consumer with any nonaffiliated third party for any purpose that requires your consent unless you opt in first. To opt in, you must first receive our privacy notice and an opt-in form, and then give us your authorization in writing or electronically. We do not make any such disclosures today.
We will not disclose information about your creditworthiness to our affiliates. We will not disclose your personal information, financial information, credit report or health information to nonaffiliated third parties to market to you, other than as Vermont law permits, unless you authorize us to.

California residents
Personal information we collect, process or disclose under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act is exempt from the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.145(e)). For questions about your loan information, contact us using the details below.
Website visitors
When you join our waitlist or contact us through this site, we collect what you enter, such as your name, company, email and phone number. We use it only to respond to you and to send Wheels Up updates you asked for. We do not sell it.
We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
How we protect your information
We follow a Written Information Security Program built to the FTC Safeguards Rule (16 CFR Part 314). Highlights:
- Loan-file access limited to U.S.-based W-2 processors who need it for an assigned file
- Multi-factor authentication, unique logins, and encryption in transit and at rest
- No borrower documents on local or personal devices; audit logging of admin actions
- Vetted vendors bound by contract; background checks and annual privacy and security training
If we ever learn of unauthorized access to your information, we will notify you and the appropriate regulators as the law requires.
How long we keep your information
We keep loan and processing records for at least five years, or longer where state law or our contract with your broker requires. After that, we securely destroy the information or return it to your broker.
Text messaging (SMS)
Wheels Up Processing, LLC may send text messages to borrowers and loan officers about the status of a loan file in processing and the documents needed to complete it. Message frequency varies with your file’s activity. Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at 888-737-1719 or privacy@wheelsupprocessing.com.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text-message opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Information collected through text messaging is used only to communicate with you about your loan file and is handled under the rest of this Privacy Policy.

We answer privacy questions and requests, or route them to your broker, within 10 business days. Please do not email loan documents or account numbers to this address.
We review this policy at least yearly and will post any update here with a new effective date.
